maybe if aa guns cost 4 we would see them purchased more often. makes skirmishing riskier though, not sure I like that.
I just play more aggressively is all veqryn. Hard to be hyper aggressive in team games to be honest, can’t coordinate fully. All good.
Never really thought of all in strategies as being risky or gambling, just seems optimal to me and the game will go on forever otherwise. That is not good.
Besides this is global, most of the games so far in this tournament have shown allies lose. If the allies aren’t being aggressive and taking good risks with good rewards, they lose anyway.
I needed those dead, that is 2 less hits I need to score to take Italy. That is one less boat required of America, which costs 13 ipc (these things are usually 1 time drops, unless there is a supply train in which case they drop every other round). Saves me mucha moola. Ignoring was not even an option from my perspective.
I am just playing the game.
I just want to see the results of this next germany turn, game will start to pick up after this.

can anzac and uk declare war on japanese separately from each other?
right now, triplea lets them declare war together only, never separately
that meant that when anzac’s turn rolled around, i could not load my transport, because i was already at war (i became at war when cow declared it during UK’s turn)
I’ll stand by my turn, but i want to know this so i can change the triplea map if necessary

I always thought they DOW seperately, but this never came up for me so I never had to ask. I am curious now too.

I believe the rulebook CLEARLY states that they declare war together as a paired entity.
For example… it is possible for Japan to declare war on the UK seperate from America on the Japanese turn, to avoid an american destroyer block. But it is NOT ok for Japan to declare waron the UK seperate from ANZAC to accompplish the same thing.
UK and ANZAC are essentially one and the same. I’m pretty damn certain it’s in the book. I’ll look it up later.
