I guess you will need your army in the west. France is much stroger than Russia. What about a more firendly neighbourhood next turn? I suggest open borders so you can take your army to the west without fear.

Beware of the Ottomans! They only wait for the French attack on your territory. We should ally against them.

This FFA and I wouldnt have let the French become big in that area. They are obviously working together. Remember Diplomacy? Turkey and France can be a fearsome combination.
