  • You had a chance to propose a ceasefire with me when you extended the olive branch to Spain . . . when I saw that you hadn’t I figured I knew what your intentions were. All I did was protect both of my fleets that were in danger of just being swatted by you if you so choose.

    As far as the other game … .  well I’m practically allied with the person who’s taken so much from me. Or throw in the fact that his team is beating me up in the G40 tourney. I do appreciate your efforts in the other game. But this is this game and I can’t let what happens in any other game color what I do in this game.

    If you’re serious about peace and not just posturing, then we can sign a ceasefire next turn and you can kill a cutter this turn just so we’re even.

    Thing is you are first in proposal turn order so I tought you didn’t want peace.

    Anyway my round1 was terrible, I lost stupid battles (Connaught, I had 1bombard at 3, then 1unit at 1 and 1unit at 3, lost everything to single infantry, and Sicily went bad too, Had bomb at 4 and 2marines at 3, lost everything.)

    I’ll try again tonight.

    Anyway, I will say one thing:  Every game of FFA is a new game, and we shouldn’t be thinking about any other games.

    So, maybe John Smith backstabbed you in the last game and Jane was your worst enemy.  But this is a new game, and John or Jane could be your best ally in this one.

    Don’t bring other games into this one, doing so tends to ruin FFA’s.
