A Jelly-fish that is naturally immortal. It essentially reverses and restarts it’s aging cycle, and although it’s still suceptible to predation and disease, It otherwise -never- dies of age.
Yet no one seems interested in studying it… ?!?! wth?
No single specimen has been observed for any extended period, so it is not currently possible to estimate the age of an individual, and so even if this species has the potential for immortality, there is no laboratory evidence of many generations surviving from any individual.
I mean, pfftp, who could possibly want to learn about an IMMORTAL jelly-fish/form of life, what good could that possible be <sarcasm>Just look at the process it uses - the creature is not even mentioned!

I totally want some in a salt-water fish tank, to pass down Generation to Generation, who wouldn’t!</sarcasm>
