@panther Thank you for the link. Unfortunately, I have finished translating the whole rulebook, but I’ll be sure to use if I ever translate the 1940 and 1942 versions. Right now, I’m going to work on the Anniversary version instead, even though I don’t own that version (nor the 1940 and 1942 versions). Thank you very much for your help.
I think it arrived!

oh wow that is great. Remember good pics of the new sculpts and map!
Yes indeed! There’s been a lot of speculation about the new game, and a few preview photographs of what’s in the box will answer a good many questions.
-
That’s great news! I need to see the sculpts so I know if I need to order more than one copy. Need quantity of each piece too.
-
WE ARE MINUTES AWAY FROM TIGER TANKS!
-
I would like to know all the details. Have friends who would play a quick game. Know we will have to wait for it in England, so any news is welcome.

Per DJensen on Facebook:
Industrial Complexes are printed on the map. Plastic poker chips are replaced with cardboard tokens.
-
That’s got to be a JOKE!
-
Makes sense considering the price point of the game, dimensions of the box and the unit count.
Are the pieces new, however?
-
I want a video of the box opening. The box is like 9x11x2 and id like to know how that map is folded…
-
I already opened the box. :-o
-
I could recreate the box opening, I guess. I think I threw out the plastic bags for the pieces.
-
Ok no problem. Anything would be of help to the first official news and pics of this fine game.
This made me laugh :-D

Can’t wait to see!!
-
Not as worried about the IC’s and cardboard pieces (already got plenty of both). I just hope that it truly is an introductory game that allows me to get more people into the world of Axis and Allies.
-
Very true! Other people I’ve tried getting into the game have stated “why so many different pieces?” or “does it have to take so long?”. This solves the problem…
