  • no issue on that change. btw, speaking of editing. I removed the minor in China. There’s a bug in the program and it didn’t destroy it when the terr was liberated. We have two pretty big naval battles this turn and I’ll probably carry both of them through to the end. Although I’ve got the brits to followup in the med and the aussies to do the same in the pac, so I may retreat and let my allies bat cleanup. I’ll need OOL for both battles and you have 6 kamikazes to use in sz19. We can do OOL blow by blow or I can just pick the best D for you as I go. Keep in mind I have 4 aussie subs to use against sz19 should I need them.

  • Sea 92, OOL - Keep A destoyer alive while your subs live; otherwise, let Destoyers die early. 1/2 hits to bb, kill my aircraft carriers early. German casualties before Italians (so Italy can strike back). Prefer to save planes over bb. Land Gibraltar.

    OOL Sea 19 - again, let my aircraft carriers be early casualties. Do I still have kamekaze? Then 3 at your Aircraft carrier and three at the battleship. If you do not have subs (i don’t think you do), kill the destroyer early. Planes are more important to survive than boats.  Land survivors in Manchuria. Hard to reach.

    Here is my thinking. Rather than try to piece together the lost game, just play over and DON’T do what you did before - make changes - that will corrupt the board.  Much easier to just complete this game playing forward.

  • Seth - am a little confused by this turn of events. Did you use the info I just sent? Or is this using ten days old dice rolls? If you used the info I sent, I had wanted rolls split between battleship and aircraft carriers…which just following dice rolls would mean I sunk the battleship and immediately wouneded one carrier.  And that might have helped me out, but then combat resolves, both fleets are gone…

  • I did follow your OOL in the first take. But it’d been so long that I forgot that I used edit mode in that previous save file to remove the IC from Kiangsu since it’d been liberated. I undid a move during noncom which caused the same error to pop up. So I used edit mode to reconstruct the map, the only issues is both battles would’ve left cripples; two damaged cvs in sz92 and one damaged bb in sz19. Also, that would’ve left you with 6 unused kamikazes. I tried to resolve this by spamming some axis subs in sz92 and using the kamikazes against the bb. If you look at the dice rolls, you’ll see I tried this several times and that I actually shorted myself the hit bb in sz19. After the retakes, I was either left one cv short or with an undamaged bb. I gave up after a couple takes and decided that the bb was dead anyway and this was close enough.
