@magnum I’m not yet convinced that letting them pick what they want, and potentially the same thing, is a problem. If anything, this will give them the opportunity to try out different strategies, involving research, and see how they work.

I have a little idea to get research a little more common. At least in my games its rare that anyone other than the US or maybe USSR(we play Global btw) get research because of the low chances of breakthrough. So my idea it to buy a research center say somewhere between 10-15 IPCthat allows for one research role a turn. It should be limited to two or so a faction though so America can’t spam them then make an unstoppable army. I think we’re going to try it next full game. What do you think?
