Yes 2 tanks might not be enough…I find it is important for Russia to have some tanks as well so when necessary, it can run to India for temporary support. Just UK and US planes alone are not enough to support India at first few rounds.

You can do the same thing when you declare you’re going to bring an existing carrier up in NCM for fighters to land on after a battle is over. If the fighters die, you don’t have to move the carrier. Reference the “Pearl Harbor light” opening for Japan.

It’s a board game, not a historical simulation.

I have got a 20mb scan of the OOB map (that is, scale 1:1). The problem with this scan is, that it is too dark, as I was told. Unfortunately, I didn’t know that when the file was produced and when it came down to work with the scan file it was too late to compalin about the quality at the copy shop. However, if you are interested, I can send you a link to download the scan.

Add another destroyer for the States in sea zone 11.  I believe that should bring it close to balanced.  This will allow the 2 transports to survive putting a lot more pressure on Germany earlier in the game.

I’m mistaken. I knew I had 2 copies of the 1941 rulebook, … we played using 2 rulebooks!!  Duh, I bought two copies of the 1941 game.  There is a scanned version of the 2e rulebook available (where I do not know) but I was looking for an official pdf version that contains text not just images.
