  • I mean Vance, if you really want to scramble 2fighters defending 1cruiser and 1 drestroyer against:

    1battleship
    1carrier
    1cruiser
    2bombers

    I will just re-roll everything.

    Remember that I also bought a new carrier if you plan a 2round fleet sink.


  • So what if I wanted to scramble to z109 and land in Eireland?  I’m not saying I want to do that, I’m just saying the attacker should always wait for the defenders scramble/intercept/submerge decisions so we don’t get into any bad situations.  Some people would insist on a reroll just hoping for better dice.

    Anyway, it was a nicely executed sea lion.  well done.

    Are you sure you can scramble fighters in 109 and then land them in scotland? I’m curious about this move.


  • It’s OK Noll; just saying some people would take advantage of you in that situation.  Friendly game, no worries.

    As for 109, if you attack a ship I can scramble and if the territory the planes scrambled from is lost the planes can NCM to an adjacent territory to land.  It might be a question for Krieghund but I don’t think the rule excludes a sub attack.  It would be a cheap move, but in this case I do think I would be able to save our planes by scrambling against the sub even though they can’t hit it just to land them in Eireland.  I might be wrong though.
