Whew, that was just what the allies needed. US survived with sub, 7 fighters, & 2 bombers. I don’t know what the TUV swing on that was, but it was huge!

I was counting on you attacking it actually. I had a choice of giving you a 25% battle and a 50% battle, or two 40% battles, and I judged the one in sz25 to be more important so I did it like this.
You were not supposed to win with 10 units left. That is ����ing ridiculous. Btl calc had 51/48, with either 2 units left for me, or 2 units left for you.

50/50 for hawaii? lol. whatever I am playing japan next game this is crazy, USA invested so much into the atlantic and you played so conservative which screwed me over on europe. Then when you decide to push for victory, you don’t go all in? :\
It’s not 50/50, not anymore. It’s closer to 20/80 in my favor once the Anzac reins get there. By the time Japan goes again, I’ll have 5inf, art, arm, 4ftr, 2bmb, aa vs 3inf, art, 4ftr, 2tac, 2bmb. I’ll take the bombers and aa first.
Cow, this is a team game, you made mistakes in Europe. Japan made mistakes in the Pacific. And I made mistakes on both sides. Yes, your naval buys threatened Norway. But they also cost you against Russia, to the point that your stack had to retreat. I really didn’t expect you to invest that much against it. But it served it’s purpose of buying USSR time. And thanks to your misunderstanding of the rules, that IC fixes to be there for a couple more turns at least. Yes, Verq made mistakes. But you can’t honestly say that you didn’t make mistakes that cost your team the game. Whatever happened to those bombers you promised Japan early on?

Of course I did. I’ve been planning that ever since I saw you start to build a navy and station it in sz113. I’m sorry it hurts your feelings; but it’s a legal move, it was in the FAQ, and it was in the rules. It’s not my fault that you didn’t understand the rules prior to me doing it.

also veqryn why wouldn’t you take 50/50 for hawaii win? Isn’t that the whole point of the game? to play the objective and go for the win. 50/50 is a fair shake and the consequences aren’t that bad you just block his naval and he can only hit you with air.

Yeah, I’m sorry Verq . … I kind of feel bad about how that battle turned out. I fully expected to win(no loser’s mentality here), but I thought that at best I might have 2-3 air left. And I never thought I’d have a realistic shot at coming out of that with that many pieces left. We can delete the French BB if you want or maybe you’ll get an Italian one?
I understand part of your reasoning for moving like you did, but you can’t give a wounded animal an opening . . . he’s got nothing to lose and everything to gain. Basing 60% of your ground strength on a 50/50 battle probably wasn’t the wisest choice. Even had I only survived with 2-3 units left, you’d still be facing 20% odds in Hawaii. And I knew I’d figured out a way to hold both VCs.

Cow, run a sim . … it’s not a 50/50 battle. Anzac will move an inf, arm, ftr to the defenses.
At most Japan will have 3inf, art, 4ftr, 2tac, 2bmb vs 5inf, art, arm, 4ftr, 2bmb, aa in Hawaii.
