@Blackychan I don’t believe your Italian attacks were legal moves for this set up. If you look at the game notes it states that Italy cannot attack any game spaces containing French or British units until Paris has fallen.
Look at the game notes and let me know your interpretation of those rules.
“Italy, while not at war may move naval units out of the Mediterranean Use Edit. They may declare war at any time, however unless Paris has fallen their combat moves may not include attacks on any game space occupied by French or British units. This is Player Enforced”

ok, i had a great feeling that you wouldn’t scramble, i went all in in India, and it failed miserably…
so i must concede this game.
I’m up for another one if you wish.
-
Want to bid for sides this time? Or random?
-
I’m surprised you went for Calcutta against odds. Did you figure that if it survived this turn that Japan’s odds would only decrease?
-
Whoops, I enter something wrong in the calc the first time. It wasn’t an against odds attempt.
-
odds weren’t great, but it was doable…
Ok, let’s bid for sides if you want.
-
Do you want to bid first or should I?
-
(and do you want the current league system, i.e. a negative bid for the Axis means that if you win, you play Axis but the Allies get to place that IPC amount of units on the board)
-
ok, let’s play with current league bid system.
I let you bid first.
If you want, it can be a league game, i don’t mind.
-
League doesn’t really matter to me much. I really only play the league games when that’s who wants to play
I’ll bid negative 7 for the Axis.
-
(I don’t think that’s the real game balance … I just tend to struggle with the Allies)
-
i’ll bid negative 8
I also struggle with allies…but you already know that…
-
I’ll take the Allies for 8 (I’ll never sack Moscow if I give you 3 infantry :-P), let me think a minute about what/where to place though.
-
Is 1 UK sub in sz98 and 2 IPC to UKE’s starting income acceptable?
-
yup, no problem.
A sweet little sub in sz98 for Taranto, and 10inf bought UK1….
hehe, nice.
Ok, Will start another thread in 2mn.
