Perhaps this is a tad hasty, but…
Regrets:
(1) Not reducing the USSR infantry stack with Japan when she was potent, Mongolian bonus be damned.
(2) Relying on blind luck in Eastern Poland to preserve the German panzer stack, rather than taking the more cautious, patient route.
(3) Not doing more to help Italy become more than a third-world military power.
The rest is down to bad dice, and solid play from our opponents…
