    @Make_It_Round:

    While I was away, Dutch took his US turn without offering me the option to Kamikaze on the Iwo Jima and Phillipines fights.

    This is understandable, but I have a small question remaining about Kamikaze timing:

    I understand that using Kamikazes is conditional on one or more of the following territories falling to the Allies: Philippines, Marianas, Okinawa, Iwo Jima.

    However, in the same turn Dutch took Philippines AND Iwo Jima…

    So:

    Depending on the order of battles, would I be able to send Kamikazes to the second battle, whichever one that was?

    OR

    Are Kamikazes locked in at the beginning of the Conduct Combat phase, much like scrambling orders?

    MIR, Kamikazees were not available for those attacks.  Why?  No surface war vessels in the sea zone during combat.  The rules are really funny about the Kamikazee, but take a look at em.  They activate only on surface war ships and cannot be used against tranports and subs.  Here, the transports went in on the Combat Move solo, without surface war craft, and therefore, the Kamikazees did nto activate.  The surface war ships then non-com’d in after combat.

    So how would they have been activated? If you would have had a naval vessel there and I brought my surface war ships to bear on that naval vessel. Or, if the sea zone is empty and I try to bombard the shore, then they activate as well.

    Also, Triple A will stop and ask about the Kamikazee when they are available, so it will not let you proceed without asking about it.

    the dice kinda sucked that round but at least they took both territories.  had to edit to move the inf from russia to smolensk and the eastern russian infantry (forgot to do during NC move) and to place the factory upgrade, couldn’t figure out how to do it using the place units feature.

    Guys, game just glitched on the US Combat. Just tweeked its way through the whole thing in z97 in like 3 seconds and never gve me a casualty screen. The intent was to withdraw after z1, as its a 0% win for the US. I can do it over or edit the withdrawal of the AC and tach to z99.  Let me know.

    If there was a glitch, US retreat at end of round is okay, but if you want to retreat the AC remember that there should be a damage counter on it, and there’s no tactical bomber left to save…

    MIR, there are two US units remaining, that’s why there was a dice roll sent out for 2 units in round 2.  Italians only landed 4 hits. One sub hit, the dd missed, the cru hit, 1 fighter hit, 1 fighter missed, BB hit.

    Those dice are tricky to read. It goes lowest unit to highest, left to right.

    Sooo with 4 Italian hits, I guess you’re going to edit in one damaged carrier in SZ 99 & one tac bomber? (I learned from Veqryn that you can edit in damage by staging a fake battle, wounding a carrier, and then deleting all extraneous units afterwards…)

    I had to do the turn over… twice… sucks too, Zone 98 Battle II came out much better than the first one. The third one, I only had to edit back in the Italian sub, but other than that it was close to the first one.

    I also notice that De Gaulle must have loaded the wrong Anzac map.  There were two Anzac maps, the only difference was the dd/ftr purchase they made. The second one having the dd purchased.
