the french have had some impact, however slight :lol:
No doubt, no doubt. Shot down some stink’n German Luftwaffe, blocked the bombards on Calcutta, and took the airfields in Holland for a brief season.
But it’s a little anti-climatic doing well and them being doomed to wander the board with 6 whole infantry for the bulk of the game thereafter.
There is a magical event that occurs if all 6 infantry meet in Cairo.
A secret compartment opens in your axis and allies europe box, at the back, and a ‘special’ card comes out with a secret URL and instructions on it.
While I was away, Dutch took his US turn without offering me the option to Kamikaze on the Iwo Jima and Phillipines fights.
This is understandable, but I have a small question remaining about Kamikaze timing:
I understand that using Kamikazes is conditional on one or more of the following territories falling to the Allies: Philippines, Marianas, Okinawa, Iwo Jima.
However, in the same turn Dutch took Philippines AND Iwo Jima…
So:
Depending on the order of battles, would I be able to send Kamikazes to the second battle, whichever one that was?
OR
Are Kamikazes locked in at the beginning of the Conduct Combat phase, much like scrambling orders?

MIR, Kamikazees were not available for those attacks. Why? No surface war vessels in the sea zone during combat. The rules are really funny about the Kamikazee, but take a look at em. They activate only on surface war ships and cannot be used against tranports and subs. Here, the transports went in on the Combat Move solo, without surface war craft, and therefore, the Kamikazees did nto activate. The surface war ships then non-com’d in after combat.
So how would they have been activated? If you would have had a naval vessel there and I brought my surface war ships to bear on that naval vessel. Or, if the sea zone is empty and I try to bombard the shore, then they activate as well.
Also, Triple A will stop and ask about the Kamikazee when they are available, so it will not let you proceed without asking about it.
