i think the axis have the advantage but it is a fairly balanced game. the bids will probably be less than revised which was perfectly even with a 9ipc bid to axis. the allied strategies are always more difficult and need more experience, the more everyone plays the bids will get lower.

if you think russia needs a bomber then bid for allies +12ipc.

In fairness love, it’s because you entered late - therby skipping a round.  If you want to keep helping push these games along - I’d be more than appreciative?  Or if you like.  Set some completion dates?  so if it’s close I can call it to decision.

yes garg i am a little eager. i will help to encourage the 1st round players to speed things up. i am not sure if going to a decision on these games as they still seem pretty even and would suck to lose on a decision when it is close.

Agreed. The allies are more challenging in this setup because they need more coordination between different players to be effective. This also makes it easier for experienced players to be really aggressive with the axis. I still think the game is balanced and think we will see a lot more allied wins in the later rounds of the tournament.

Russian bomber is equivilent to a 6 bid, because it is a unit that is not in a strategic spot, won’t see use till round 2 or 3 in most cases as well. True it is a strong unit, but a uk sub somewhere has more options an a bigger impact early game.

Allies strategies are not more difficult, they just require more coordination among team mates. Plus the allies don’t get much in terms of options.  It is hard to get people to play allies in this game, everyone wants to be axis. Russian bomber would just make russia feel less sad about itself.

If it is no bid, how we randomly decide which faction we play? or you still rolling that out?

Because if both teams already know which side they have, one team will want to stick to a no bid.
