Our current standard bid is 30 IPC.
– sub in SZ 106 makes it more difficult to take out the transport
– destroyer in SZ 91 to protect cruiser, can block invasion of Gib round 1 or go sub hunting depending on G1 combat results
– fighter in Malta and sub in SZ 98 for Taranto so no fighters from UK required

These additions tend to have immediate impact and create early vulnerability for Italy, which can also draw off some German units.

Unfortunately, it does nothing vis-a-vis Japan, but should allow the US to put some significant builds in the Pacific early before turning to a KGF strategy.

Yes my buy is also 6inf and fighter or 7 inf and tpt (for S-Afr).
Can you outline in a video or step by step your UK1 please so I have it right. Bc fighters on gibraltar are useless against I1 of G2 attacks on the UK fleet bc no airbase there. Only fighters on the carrier can make it back.

The 2 TP purchase is crucial to ensuring that the British cannot forgo turn 1 defenses for a G2 Sealion. It also allows for a G2 Barbossa purchase with the TP’s hitting up the Russian coast should you be in such a position, or better positioning for a G3 assault on Russia.

Kudos to the German player for having the biggest naval balls in history.  Britain is a very expensive proposition.
