got the rulebook, just realized, that I didn’t read it exactly enough, because I thought then I’d know the rules more or less.
It was exactly enough to play and to have most of the rules right, but I missed two or three things :roll:, well, now it should be better
A sub,BB,and a transport walk into a bar.

Ran into this last weekend. A lone G-sub is guarding a coast. My BB escorting a loaded trans ignores the sub and is able to do a one coastal bombardment. Correct?
-
If you do NOT attack the sub, you can ignore it and do coastal bombardment.
If you choose to attack the sub, you can’t bombard.
If there was a destroyer and a sub defending, you wouldn’t be able to bombard.

@Bunnies:
If you do NOT attack the sub, you can ignore it and do coastal bombardment.
If you choose to attack the sub, you can’t bombard.
And the sub can simply submerge thus avoiding combat (after locking you into combat and denying you the bombardment ability)
If there was a destroyer and a sub defending, you wouldn’t be able to bombard.
Or any other surface warship for that matter, not just a destroyer.

A sub, BB and transport walk into a bar. The sub walks out. DAMN DICE!!!
