FYI

Great War (triplea) operates under “A&A Revised” rules as far as I can tell.

The Convoy Zones operate using “A&A Europe” rules (the original europe), meaning that:
1. enemy convoy zones can only be moved into during combat move phase
2. you can move through owned or friendly convoy zones during non-combat move (including ones you just conquered)
3. only the original owner of the convoy zone collects income from them. if the convoy zone is taken by an enemy, the enemy does not collect income. 
In other words, convoy zones can only be “denied”, never “conquered”.  Those merchant ships go to the bottom of the ocean, they don’t switch sides.

So, if the US cannot declare war until round 10, does that mean she cannot enter convoy zones and cannot be attacked?

I see once again I still screwed up the sea zone thing. For some knucklehead reason I thought your ships had to stop in the convoy zone…what makes that sooooooooooooooooooo funny is that I have move through similar zones myself!
