This version really lends itself to the attacker-gets-slaughtered syndrome though. :-P

To be honest I wish I played my first few turns better. This is actually a pretty cool version… even if I am going to get my ass kicked…

You had to do it. It was either wait and get massacred or stand up and fight. You couldn’t run anymore so you antied up and faught like a man. It was the right move.

I DO want to see what you do next :) The big win on my turn, was scoring 3 hits in Cairo. A city that should have fallen LAST round… :P

Yeah… I have played the African and Middle East theatres like a MORON. I made irreparable mistakes early on. Cairo is likely yours and I am not likely to get it back an time soon.

I do hope I get the chance to play the British again soon though. There are SO many things I could have done better…

What I like is all the OPTIONS each power has. The game moves slow enough on the ground, that you can really adjust your forces to be where YOU want them to be, and in whatever order YOU want, without losing too much ground to your opponent.

It’s interesting… in this game, I dictate the mediterranean, and you the atlantic, but in my other game against Ol Blood n Guts, it’s the other way around entirely. (I have 4 battleships loose + armada in the Atlantic) But he’s got the Austrians, Ottomans, and Germans, all split seperately in the Med.
