we only allow a redo for France on G1 given that you bring the usual attack. Our usual being as follows: 5 inf, 2 arty, 4 mechs, 6 tanks, and sometimes the tactical from Poland. That’s 98% success rate. The failed attack is actually called a “variance” in statistics. We call it “The Variance”. if you get it, basically we reset the game and change sides. It’s the dice gods way of telling you from the beginning that you will not win playing the Axis. It is counted as a win for the allied player tho when scoring victories in the series.

If you get a crappy roll and get destroyed, you kind of need to use your imagination. Maybe they infiltrated your headquarters with spies or broke your codes and knew your plan, like Midway.

In order to delay a German crush on Moscow you will need the help of US/UK.

The Allies need to at least threatening a landing on S.Fra, Normandy, Norway, Denmark, N.Ita or S.Ita. Everything else is bogus. If you can’t Force Germany to build some ships then they will have free hands on Moscow and it will not matter what they do or how they die.

And, when Germany captured Moscow, they will be in London/Cairo in No Time!

Germany has to send all his assets towards the East. Everytime Germany has or needs to build ships is one to two units less who can march towards Moscow.

If you want to delay a German march towards Moscow, then build up a JFK devinsive line.
J= Novo,Bela,W.Ukr, Ukr, Bessa
F=Bela,Smolensk, W.Ukr,Ukr, Bryansk
K=Smolensk,Bryansk,Rostov and Russia from where you refit and supply your troops.
You have to time it and have to be powerful enough to knock out any Ita Canopeners.

yeah…we tried it.  I think that’s the first move everyone sees when they set up the board.  I’ve recently had to bring additional german aircraft to Tobruk or the UK players plasters that army and Italy has nothing in Africa.

The important thing to understand about mechanized infantry movement is that they move in exactly the same way that tanks do, except that they can’t blitz without a tank.  In most cases, the confusion on this issue comes from the definition of the term “blitz”.

Many people define “blitz” as any two-space movement by a tank, but that’s incorrect.  A blitz movement is a combat movement through an unoccupied, enemy-controlled territory and into another territory.  Only the first territory is “blitzed”.  The second one is not, regardless of its status.

So, mechanized infantry may only make a combat movement through an unoccupied, enemy-controlled territory and into another territory when paired with a tank.  Any other two-space movement that a tank can legally make can also be made by a mechanized infantry without an accompanying tank.  This means that mechanized infantry may always move two friendly spaces alone in noncombat movement, and they may also move two spaces alone in combat movement if the first territory is friendly.

Also, I’m not sure if the Chinese are proud of China in AA40 either.
