thanks, may it be a great game and hopefully luck isn’t the total decider lol
Let the sub fight, and if you get one hit before I do in 106, lose the destroyer and have the sub submerge.
and no scramble.

I find it interesting that you’ve made two major defensive stands. One at Yunnan and one at Leningrad.
I understand Yunnan, because it could easily cost Japan more IPC than the Allies and Japan isn’t really set up to threaten Calcutta anyways.
But I am curious, why stand at Leningrad?
Is it because Germany is distracted in the Mediterranean? Or because the Soviets can afford more losses due to IRQ income in 3.9? Or is there some factor I am missing?
(obviously, you don’t need to answer if it will spoil your plan … just not what I expected the Soviets to do)
If you attack Leningrad this turn you won’t have enough infantry left over for Moscow. You will pull it off but it will be costly and you will probably be down to just your tanks. You will need to bring up reinforcements for Moscow. Even if you start building a lot of mechs it will cost you time.
The other option for you is to hold off on Novgorod for a turn and then attack it more heavily so your losses will be less. Trouble is I might pull out to Archangel to fight on another day.
Either way defending Leningrad buys me 1 more turn and as I count the spaces I see I need 1 more turn to march my 20 Eastern divisions to Moscow in time.
Or maybe I just have a passive aggressive personality :-)
