This guy thinks he’s smart, but he only looks at units one dimensionally.

He thinks that pure mathemetic cost, and power is what makes somethingn useful or not.

What he does not understand is the importance of threat power and utility, exponential defence, strategic placement, and turn order.

For example: Going by his calculations, a Dark Skies strategy would be an absolute and complete folly against even the most simple minded opponents.  Where as in practice, mid tier to high tier players use components of the strategy with excellent success against evenly balanced and competent opponents.

Just wanted to see if there’s anyone in the area interested in gaming on weekends. Tons of AAM, AANM, A&A 1914, plus other board/miniature games. For anyone playing Panzer Corps by email, I’m DerLeiter there as well.

I am a rookie to Axis n Allies. I have played a couple of times and still learning the rules, but I don’t really know anybody interested in playing. I own the A&A 1941 version and the A&A Europe 1940 Second Edition.

Sorry, can’t do Brighton, a little far.  However I will be at the MichCon Convention all day Friday 1pm to Close and Saturday after 4pm.  Saturday there will be an AAGlobal session going on at 4 and 7pm.  On Friday, I’m just gonna bring my own copy and play in the free play section.
