Specific Lightning Assault Question

Okay, send me a private message when you’re free to start a forum game. The conditions would probably be when someone surrenders, I don’t really pay a lot of attention to Victory Cities either. I think I’ll bid 8 to take the Axis. That means if you want to play the Axis, then you get to place 7 IPC’s in units before the game begins or you play the Allies and I place 8 IPC’s in units before the game starts.

I can see how the Axis would struggle if they transport out of Africa rather than taking Egypt on G1.

My post was to encourage taking that very positive discussion to a new thread where it would be appropriate, and far more widely read.

The movement points of an aircraft are TOTAL movement.  They must take off AND land within the alloted total movement points.

So in your example, a FIG could non-combat move to land in Land 2, but could not attack it because it takes 4 points to get there, the FIG has to be able to land, and you cannot land in newly captured territory.

I’ve played a few board games in the barracks and behind all the smack talking, the brains are going furiously.

I recall on game where a guy brought his “girl friend” (she was a dancer at a local club) and she made it a point to do everything but actually service the folks playing the game all as part of his master plan to win just once!

No, he did not win and yes his “girl friend” spent the night in the barracks room.  Four guys, four beds, one girl, 'nuff said.

So I take it you guys played musical beds all night with the winner getting the bed and a good night’s sleep?  :wink:

We drew straws and the loser slept on the couch. Yep, that’s what we did.  :roll:

Thankfully, given her profession as a dancer, we had no body shyness problems in the morning as we dealt with the issue of five people and one bathroom.
