Germany’s Turn!
I think this is about as far as I have ever made it (turn-wise) in an Axis & Allies Game (other than the old Pacific or Europe, which are shorter games). Usually the clock strike 6-8 hours and then everyone has to go home with no clear winner determined. I’m obviously losing, but this is really getting exciting! You just brushed me out of Europe with ease, and with Karelia in hand I have very little chance of breaking in. It’s fascinating to watch.
I hear you, the games in person never seem to finish to the point everyone there agrees to who won. The end game in particular is where I have the least experience. I tend not to look for a quick win but a longer game where the economic advantages play the big part.
