Quick Question about printing global game aids

TripleA lists in the game notes for the Global map:

(PE) You may not land air units in Friendly Neutrals, including the same turn they are captured, unless they have been previously attacked.

(PE) = Player Enforced = You must be aware of the rule and must follow it. The engine will not stop you from breaking the rule.

Japan is ridiculously strong (but then is on 1940 too).
Germany can be held a while and Italy should not grow at all, but the U.S. must invest nearly all its income in the Pacific.
Still makes a refreshing change from 1940 though.

FYI Adobe Lightroom will compress the pics but still keep best possible resolution. There are other tools but this one is straightforward to use and the full version is free for 30 days. I’m a creative photographer and use it all the time.

To change picture size - import pics first. Then select pics to change, click Export (bottom left corner) and under File Settings / Limit File Size To, put in the size you want. You can also clean up the white balance and tone to take out that yellow tint.

I believe that per the wording of the rules, aircraft can scramble in response to ANY combat move that ends in the adjacent seazone.  So they can scramble against subs.  But they cannot hit them.  So there’s no reason to scramble.

Also, if japan has subs, they wouldn’t help Japanese aircraft hit american subs.  Only a friendly (in this example a Japanese, German, or Italian) destroyer would allow the defending scrambled planes hit attacking subs (as friendly destroyers assist in combat - this is obviously not the case on attack).

The typical German thing to do, was to attack between 2 and 4 in the morning.  Whilst on the previous day, trying to come to “on the surface” conclusive peace talks.

It worked handidly in the favour, against the smaller countries.

Ironically, France and the UK (along with many other allied nations) declared war on Germany before Germany did.  Not much happened for a while after that, though.

the 2 extra infantry does not appear on the list of national objectives and bonus income on page 23
i assume that page lists the NO’s for europe, since japan is not on the list.

for sovjet union it only says:

+5 ipc if there are no axis warship on seazone 125, SU controls archangel and no other allies present on SU ground
+3 for any original german territory and sovjet controls its own.
