And this is not addressed to anyone in particular, but all this moving out of turn, and not posting moves … as a group we are playing this way, but I will not play again if this is how we are doing it. I like to keep it friendly, but there are some things I insist upon. Sorry, but count me out next game. Its hard enough to keep track of everything.
-
I only did it that once. And I only refrained from typing out the first round’s NCMs cause - well, let’s face it, it’s almost always the same no matter what nation! Russia moves forward, Amreica consolidates, England cowers in fear, Germany moves in position to attack Russia or England, Japan moves in position to hit India, Australia and China, etc. Ya know?
-
Jen – when will you be able to post Japan’s turn?
Jim – I encouraged Jen to post her Japan turn because Japan and Russia were not at war and I knew that she might not have time to post later on. Sorry, we won’t do that again.
Am I right in saying, that in addition to not posting NCMs you don’t like it when players ask for NCM after they apparently have conclused their turn?

Can’t speak for Jim of course, but i don’t think it’s true. I’ve played numerous friendly games with him, and we always allow that kind of changes on NCMs after map has been posted.
Typing every move is the only way to be sure of what’s happening and to know if everything is in order on the map.
-
I understand what Jim is saying. If he asks for moves to be typed you should type them Jenn.
-
Yea, what I used to do is keep a text file with my routine NCMs and just paste it. I just have not gotten to making them yet, what with Alpha, Alpha 2, Alpha 3, Alpha Krieg…
-
I only wanted moves typed and to keep things in order only to follow what’s going on.
That’s all. It was not directed to anyone in particular.
I have no problem with people taking back a move or changing something. Exception being trying to change something in the missle of someone else’s move, and teh change impacts that person’s turn. And I usually let that slide too. Ask Axisplaya.
-
I just want to get as much done as fast as I can, so I can be a little chilaxed on turn order so long as it does not effect the other side.
