Okay, just found the rule. My buddy and I have been doing it wrong. Learn something new everyday.
I’d like to move the fighter to Guam then instead.
On the Mad move, because of airbase I have 5 movements. Moving into sz39 is 1, sz78 is 2, sz75 is 3, sz72 is 4, and landing in Mad is 5, right?

Aren’t you worried I’ll sink your fleet in 112 with 4 figs and a strat? Do you want to redo the turn?

Also want to point out that I have the option to scramble 5 fighters into 109, just for consideration. Won’t obviously if you are okay with your G2 as it is.

You can go ahead and scramble your Ftrs if you like. I had forgotten about that, but that doesn’t really change anything.
I do now realize that I meant to put two Ftrs, rather than 1 Ftr and 1 Tac, on the AC in z112.
So go ahead and scramble if you like.
