  • I’m utterly disgusted with my troops performance! :x Not a scratch on the japs!

    I think you are incorrect regarding AC absorbing hits. Only battleships get to take 2 hits. Didn’t change the outcome of these battles, though.

    If you could let me chime in with a SUB submerge instead that would be good next time. Hawaii was a losing battle by the odds, could have foregone the surprise strike and saved the silent service.

    I do have another FTR in GBr, I bought 2 during UK1.

    I’ll post US1 after some thinking. The Pacific war is disturbing… :cry:

    I’m very sorry about the Sub in Hawaii… I completely forgot I didn’t have a Destroyer. you can keep it if you want- my mistake, your benefit :) And for AC, you’re right. I’ve been playing Europe and Global, so I’m a bit fuzzy on the rules for 1942  :|

    Yes, I was pleasantly surprised with my J1. Russia will be the crucial turn to see whether my luck goes south… we’ll see!


  • It’s ok about the sub, honest mistake. I won’t take it back…me having a sub might have changed your mind about buying a Japanese sub and instead a destroyer. Too many what-ifs.

    Yes R2 is going to be interesting. I hate these huge battles personally…more a fan of small tactical skirmishes.
