@Blackychan I don’t believe your Italian attacks were legal moves for this set up. If you look at the game notes it states that Italy cannot attack any game spaces containing French or British units until Paris has fallen.
Look at the game notes and let me know your interpretation of those rules.
“Italy, while not at war may move naval units out of the Mediterranean Use Edit. They may declare war at any time, however unless Paris has fallen their combat moves may not include attacks on any game space occupied by French or British units. This is Player Enforced”

L O L and here I was, thinking that a CR can block the subs (boy, must have looked weird to you). I am still too much in the old game without DDs.
Re Sea Lion I did not rule it out, thought the fleet would absorb some air. 3 more subs were never calculated looks sheepish -
I mean of course I know that CRs cant. I just sometimes seem to blink it out and fall back.
-
That’s an honest mistake. How about if we pretend that you put the cruiser in z110 instead.
So do you scramble?
-
the only job of the cruisers was to block the subs, doesnt matter in which SZ. I would not have even started to build a fleet, otherwise.
And I am not even sure if its Sea Lion or Novgorod you are after.
But no, my mistake, no excuses. Scramble the three fighters. There is still a chance to take some air with me.

gracious from you.
Sorry to distort this so much. I was hoping you’d use the Italian air for the two cruisers in two SZ, if at all, with a good chance not to take both of them. And without the three subs the attack would have been hard. Thinking was ok I guess, but based on horrible noobness.
-
Ooops almost forgot to move my subs
z102
2 subs from z106map corrected.

I don’t think this is distorted at all. It is very much the “Battle of Britain” scenario that comes with the new setup.
