I have to say that if you believe that you can DOW with the USA on this R7, and not the R8 that we agreed to, that we did not understand each other.
First let’s get the DOW situation resolved.
UK of course has the right to DOW against Japan when it wants.
Based on the seasonal turns, R8 = Winter 1941-42, right around the time of Pearl Harbor. I would not have given the USA the right to DOW prior to Pearl.
also, #7 clearly says that america does not have the right to DOW until R8.
