Just noticed, you forgot to tag an African territory, so UK is at 16, and Italy is at 60.

Na, screw it, there Wehrmacht will trample Normandy anyway if you miraculously fail right now. I’ll take the hits on the aa’s.
My theory going into this game was to basically ignore Italy. Yes, they can get huge, but in the end, they only account for two victory cities (Rome of course, and Egypt, which they get almost automatically, unless UK kicks some serious ass in the Middle East, which means neglecting India, and on and on). I wanted to simply put Germany in a British/Russian vice, and force you to focus on one but not both.
But this Normandy invasion is just pathetic, and certainly not going to improve anytime soon. Perhaps you’re overwhelming advantage here has allowed for Russia’s quite able defense at the moment, but I nonetheless finally undertand why every Allied player I’ve ever encountered focuses on Gibraltar.
I’m very excited to see how this game turns out.
It’s an interesting strategy and UK landings have diverted German income that could have gone to Russia. Its hard for me to predict the long-term consequences of weak Japan, strong Italy though.
