zis-6 is the Katyusha, and I am doing it.
The Russian with the winter coat will not fit with Spanish Republic or Communist Chinese.
Plus, we don’t have any troops for any other country in winter gear either. Although, I believe FMG still has that cool sculpt of German infantry in winter dress. Jeremy said it may come out in some future surprise set, but that was long ago and I haven’t heard anything about that sculpt since.

There are a number of variables to consider on this. I know the designs went off to the sculptor, but there have been occasions where a sculpt in a set needed adjustment or to be redone. The other is color matching can be an issue as it has been in the past. All things considered though, Coach seems to get these from idea to pieces really fast. My guess would be around 8-12 weeks but miracles do happen!

As with the rest of Coach’s sets, these will likely debut first as a complete set, then be offered as individual pieces.

One question. Since I don’t see them listed in this set are you going to make some Russian Airborne units, at least in a later Set?
I understand you’re changing needs because of the NEW MAPS, but I’d still really like to have some Paratroopers from ALL of the countries so I can actually use them in my games.
Until then, my HBG U.S. Army Airborne units are “All dressed to Kill, but no place to go”.

Did Russia use Airborne troops in WW2? I don’t remember hearing of Soviet paratroop drops. I understand that we could use them in our games since they tend to stray from history somewhat, like Germany buying an aircraft carrier round 1 – Germany never actually had a functioning aircraft carrier. I’m just asking because if there were no Soviet Airborne troops in WW2, then Coach may have a hard time making a sculpt for one.

Understand,…I’m NOT trying to “pressure” HBG at all.
But I do hope that HBG plans on making some Russian Airborne units, if not in THIS set, at least eventually.
I thought the “Coach” had somewhat set a standard for the types of units that would be in his Complement sets which included Paratroopers.
If there aren’t any Russian Airborne units made, I don’t think my opponents would ever allow me to add Paratroopers to my 1940-Global games. Then my HBG American Airborne Troopers below would certainly be “All dressed to Kill, but have nowhere to go”. Thanks for your consideration on this.
