Peleliu is an ISLAND/STATE under the nation Palau. Â READ and LEARN.

Palau used to also be called Pelew, and wasn’t independant until 1978.
Thus, for the purposes of the game, the territory should be named, Peleliu as a reference to the BATTLE that was fought there.

And while you’re at it, also please correct “Timguska” to “Tunguska”. The current spelling sounds like it’s a Tim Hortons coffee shop franchise located in Siberia.
Does anyone play Pacific with the 18 Russian Infantry on the map as
per Alpha 3.9? I did once knowing it would weaken Japan’s early Chinese attacks as I left Korea and Manchuria garrisoned. We then removed them on Turn 4 and released my(enforced )Japanese garrison and I did not invade the empty Russian territories. Obviously made my task harder (I lost), but both players agreed and we thought it true to history and realism.
pacific 40 and europe 40 to be given 2nd edition treatment in september of this year!!
And my Manchuria garrison question will be resolved. Yea!
And if Pacific 1940 does get reprinted, can you please re-do the board as well, in order to correct the errors that are printed on the current version?

Well, there’s that weird thing with Western US, then there’s SZ6, then there’s Honolulu on the wrong island.

It doesn’t bother you that it’s incorrect? In neither aap40 or aag40 is wus worth 50 ipcs.
In Pacific stand alone it is worth 50 when at war with Japan.

I don’t think german or the russians will get new pieces in the reprinting of the pacific game sorry. But a new Japanese tank or fighter would be nice. Bring back the Wildcat would also be cool.

oh i figured that but I was just being a smartass before someone took you serious. All of the units from '41 would be cool as long as it’s just the nation that’s suppose to have them. No Japanese Tigers No American IS-2s. That’s for Global '40 reprint of course.
Some indications of which new sculpts we can expect have been spoiled by the recently-released sales solicitation flyers.
Pacific 40 2nd ed: ‘Includes new ANZAC miniatures’… How much do you want to bet the new infantry sculpt will be wearing a bloody Tilley hat? What other unique units could they possibly be contemplating releasing? The Sentinel? :?

I can’t fool myself into thinking “It’s a new puzzle to solve” or “I should support the continuing development of the series”.
In effect, Wizards is selling me the same game I bought two years ago, except this time the little men are wearing Tilley hats, and driving prettier cars.
(The set-up might be slightly different, but I could just download that online.)
And I’m still wrestling with myself about whether or not to buy it!

There’s nothing irrational about that. I’ve bought multiple copies of most of the A&A games just for the added sculpts.
I want…
A corrected Western USA IPC number.
Honolulu on the correct island.
SZ6 borders corrected.
Kamikaze and Convoy symbols darkened for easier reading.
New Japanese mech infantry sculpts.
Mongolia to have 1 IPC value in two Mongolian spaces.
