odds of you hitting 6 out of 6 in defense, 1 in 61.
-
odds of my rolling seven consecutive hits 1 in 15, more likely because all but 1 shot was rolling at 4.
-
The dice could not have been any kinder to you there. And no, I don’t consider a Lepanto attack where you had close to a 50% chance to be equivalent to a battle where I had 98% odds going in.
I’m checking the odds again and yes it’s 50%, I wonder why the calculator gave me 80%, cause it did. Anyway you have hit 100% for 2 consecutive rounds. What’s the chance of it? Check also China1 about your hit ratio.
Now, what if I want to scramble in London? Cause my airbase is operative.
-
sz92 losses:
I got 3 hits
1hit to BB
1hit to french DD
1hit to cruiser -
1ca 1bb vs 3fig is a 72% chance to hold London, so I will scramble.
-
ah yes, the airbase was not sufficiently damaged I guess. missed that.
Well you don’t have to allow me to adjust my attack to fly air cover over the invasion fleet, if you win that battle it will be game over, albeit a victory to you preventing sea lion, not post sea lion, or you can allow me to assign air cover, and we can reroll the entire attack.

Roll the scramble, if you get lucky we will continue the game, otherwise we will start another one, 'cause I want to change something in my strategy!

congratulations,
however, since you showed no mercy, no mercy will be shown in the future. -

But yeah! NO MERCY! If your German opening doesn’t have any variant, I will not scramble.
-
To the contrary – I DID allow the blocker last game.

Notice when I opened my Italian turn with -“Merry Christmas!” and changed the map to include the blocker?
-
oh I never opened that MAP! Sorry corrigan!
Go on, change your airforce assignment.
-
thanks!
-
Also now I’m very motivated to continue that game too!
-
I have tinkered with the German opening, but the latest version is very close to optimal, even under a Barbarrossa scenario.
