  • That is true with 1 bomber, which we discussed face to face, which is why we said it might be better to only attack with 1 bomber which is what I did every turn after in last game.  We can discuss it, but it is what we played last game.  It’s based on end results of the battle, but intercepters are their own battle.  Isn’t that what we said?  15 IPC shift can reroll.  2 bombers should not get shot down and do 11 damage.  if 1 gets shot down that is -12 if the damage lost is 3 or more it is a reroll.  We said greater than 15 rerolls.  So if you roll a 5+2 or 6+2 for damage you can’t reroll.  We can discuss, but this is how we played and it makes it a little more realistic, which we wanted, right?

    I rely on you for rule nuances. Mostly when we talk I just say yup and nod my head.

  • Ok, so based on what you said, I needed to roll damage first. So for now, we won’t use the reroll.

    For damage with strategic bombers, I rolled a 6 and a 4. That means there’s a 50-50 chance I get to reroll. So I’ll roll the 50-50 right now. If I get a 1, 2, or 3 I rolled a 6. If I get a 4, 5, or 6 I rolled the 4. Here goes:

  • I think I had the reasoning backwards - I just lost the bomber that did 6, but I kept the one that did 4 + 2. So I lost a bomber + 6 which is 18 IPCs damage. Isn’t that a reroll? Wasn’t this whole thing a moot point? I’m giving you a call! :)
