What does the gold band stand for on your profile?
On my profile it says infantry and yours says heavy bomber, what do those stand for? -
Gold bands are for donating money to the website to keep it running. This year they are throwing in a “dice tower” as a gift for the support as well. A gold band for each year supported.
“Infantry” or “Heavy bomber” is just a level for fun. It is driven entirely by post-count. Once your post count reaches a couple hundred or so, it will change to “artillery” and then “tank” on up the scale. Heavy bomber is the highest, at about 4,000 posts or something like that.

Same thing with the stars - I think you just get more when you have more posts. I have a ton of posts because I discuss strategy, rules changes, answer rules, and play a lot of games. Every time you roll the dice it’s another post.

I need to wait for you to choose a loss for Z12. If you lose the destroyer and both ships miss, the sub could sink your cruiser with a surprise strike. But if you lose the destroyer and do get a hit on defense, then you will have a destroyer against a bomber instead of a cruiser against a bomber. Let me know when you decide. If you want to quit and start over because Moscow fell, that would be fine. If you want to keep going, that is fine too. (Germany will have 77 IPC’s at the end of her turn)
