but what really has me confused is how I shot down 3 italian fighters and yet two of them are parked on the german AC
i admit that the italian ftrs on the cv are a nice move, but I think that’s a bit unfair, since you were determined to attack the british cv

for future reference, the italian fighters on the german AC are considered cargo during an attack, so now that I think that thru it’s probably not a good move.

Yes I should have offered, however you were fine with taking the CV as the causualty which surprised me. I didn’t argue the point so I continued. A turn after the fact was probably not the time to argue about it now that Sealion was a success. If it was failing would you have said something??? Sounds like sour grapes to me.
I will offer you this: allow me to redo the Italian Combat Move again and then we can continue with Russia otherwise we can play on- what do you say???

yes that was a tactical mistake by me- I usually leave German aircraft on the AC but for some reason I didn’t. If you would have kept the AC and took a ftr out you could have stopped Sealion in z110 by scrambling- you would have had enough to stop the invasion before it started b/c the Italian ftrs can’t attack like you said. Looks like I made a tactical mistake and you missed a grand opprotunity. Play on???

From this point on, how do you want to handle “missed” scrambling by the attacker??? This is the problem with doing scrambling online especailly if one forgets to ask and the roll has been made.

second, you could simply have put some planes above the fleet, and frankly I’m surprised that you didn’t in this sea lion attempt.

Right on both counts- I’m not denying that- my mistake. Again- how do you handle missed scrambling by the attacker. Different people have different ways of handling this.
