I do that quite often. Usually when I’m trying out a new strategy or when I just feel like playing :D .

A&A pieces are still the same shape and colour.
A&AE & A&AP were made different for more realism and to help keep the pieces separate if you dropped both boxes at the same time. :P

I guess there might be another reason, but I cannot think why! :roll: :wink:

One thing that bugs me in the rules is … if you have FTRs on a CV in the UK sz, for example, and are attacked, losing the CV, but FTRs survive, they have one movement point to reach the UK, W EUR or F/N! If they were in the fight(which is highly probable) then they would not have fuel to reach safety. But, IT’S JUST A GAME! :wink:

The patch should also solve the problem of the opponent buying subs and either not using them or not placing them.

Really? I have it patched and the US still often buys 8 subs and places 2.
