That’s the way I see it…both sides made mistakes, and were corrected…it should be about a wash in my mind. However, if you feel that strongly about it, I don’t want to jeapordize a friendship over a game so feel free to call it whatever you want to call it. (I’ve elaborated on mistakes so far, I don’t feel the need to do so again.)
-
Naw jenn, If I played better, it would be even an easier win.
Oh, and for the record, you’re going down faster than a red neck’s sister in Tennessee, buddy! That issue in Turkey made it easier (mainly because now I can stack Spain and should have allowed me to shut down the naval base, but that did not happen.)
Russia’s toast and I only need 1 more Victory City to win. I have: Paris, Berlin, Rome, Warsaw, Cairo, St. Petersburg and London. That’s 7.
-
I know I worsened unnecessarily the situation. The only thing I can do now is killing the italian dd blocker, ncm my fleet to malta. The turn later I take Cairo.

Yup. If only that bomber had done it’s frazzin job!
It’s okay. taking Cairo will at least put you back in the safer zone, but yea, Russia’s done, it shouldn’t take a lot more power on Germany’s part before Moscow collapses which means they can put more boats in the water - and with Japan not totally domesticated yet, that’s a problem for America.

miscow won’t be easy and you know it. The game is still playable but I’m not having fun. 5games with the allies this week kinda burned out my spirit. I enjoy more playing the axis but in order to improve my axis skills it’s better that I play allies.

Yes, so do I…
And the aforementioned post was table talk.

We continuing?
Just DYING to know what the Americans do. As you said, you were looking into moving into the Med with the goal of maybe getting Cairo back. Personally, I don’t know if that’s good or bad, you’d end up letting the Germans block you in - or move in themselves…sucks I didn’t lock down that naval base, but maybe that’ll work for me. lol
-
hi Jenn, I’d rather start a new one!

hi Jenn, I’d rather start a new one!
Surrendering?
(Hey, I don’t get to be on the winning side often in for fun games, I want the surrender! Especially now that the Americas are about to lose a huge fleet, mwuhahahaha!)
Headed to the bank, back in 30

WHy not “rewinding the game” at last russia’s turn? :P

WHy not “rewinding the game” at last russia’s turn? :P
Yup, gots no problem with that - course, you’re going to have to either say Japan’s change isnt a loss or this one is. :P
Sorry, I’m in a mood…getting stuff actually accomplished makes me happy and I’ve been accomplishing a lot for the holidays so…
But no, we’re trying to have fun and a catastrophic failure is not fun. Getting out manuevered is one thing, trusting DS Kelly to save your skin is something completely different!
-
it was a miscalculation actually, I was sure russian+uk forces where enough to resist in Turkey 1turn.

Perhaps you missed the Bombers when you ran the numbers? I’ll do that sometimes, because I rarely look for what Strategic Bombers are around, especially if I am in a rush.
Tell ya what, why don’t you start a game with Germany (you said you were getting burned out on Allies) and post a link in here to the new game. Setup your attacks assuming England scrambles and then don’t scramble the planes (it’s a game for fun, I trust you to be honest with the information that I won’t scramble to defend the fleet.) If I disagree with a specific battle, I’ll letcha know so you can reroll it (ie. 2 submarines vs destroyer and transport in SZ 109, I can scramble and for that battle I would, but only because there’s very little risk to my planes.)
-
Yeah I can try, but I SUCK as Axis :-D
I’ll start one when I’m back home!

But you dont want to be allies! Lol. Yes, go start a thread and post a link for me please - or at least say “Yo, Jenny, there’s a game thread for us, go find it!” so I at least know I’m looking for one.
You won’t get any better with the Axis until you play them - ya know.
-
I started a game but the G1 went very badly. I attacked France with more units than you usually bring and I lost.
I also lost 2 aircrafts during G1. -

I also lost 2 aircrafts during G1.So redo it. It’s Germany 1! It shouldn’t be the deciding factor of the game - at least it shouldnt give the Allies the win.
-
Ok I’ll try to re-roll it.
My G1 will be almost a carbon copy of yours.
