Didn’t I move them all in Turkey? That was my plan
Yes, but I didnt see it in your typed move. I got them there.
Well, both one under expected (or two for attacker, if you’re an optimist.)

Yeah I made wrong calculations with turkey’s def damn… this will hurt unfortunately.

Destroyer, 3 Fighters, 2 Tactical Bombers to SZ 104
Destroyer, 2 Fighters, Tactical Bomber to SZ 109(if the French go there, I may have to adjust this attack, odds are they went if Italy cleared the American ship, but since they did not, they go to the Americans in SZ 91.)
Combat:

Rolls: 1@1; Total Hits: 01@1: (4)

Yeah I made wrong calculations with turkey’s def damn… this will hurt unfortunately.
Really…thought they were political prisoners. My bad.
Damage:
Rolls: 1@6; Total Hits: 11@6: (1)

Yay…one damage… Think that shuts down the base, however. I know Larry was talking about all or nothing on bases…

Shoulda brought 3 infantry…misread the number of defenders…well, here’s to hoping you dont get 100% accuracy!

The naval base shuts down when you do 3+ dmgs
-
Build: Infantry, Airbase in W. France
Build: Infantry in S. France
Build: 3 Infantry in England
Build: 10 Infantry in Germany
Build: 2 Destroyers in SZ 105Collect: 5 IPC Caucasus, 5 IPC Novgorod, 5 IPC Sweeden, 5 IPC Egypt, 57 IPC TT - 0 IPC Convoy Damage = 77 IPC
Of course, the French cannot attack SZ 104. If the French go there, the attack will shift and I’ll give up hitting the submarine in SZ 109 so I can have all the planes in SZ 104.
You know our turn maps are listed at 9, but our game turns just started 10?

Yea, that’s what I was thinking, but I know the talk had shifted…glad I left the destroyer in SZ 92 now. I did not want to risk a strategic for a mere navy base, even though it would have guarenteed the base be closed…
OOL in Spain: Italians, then Germans.

I saw what I wrote in LH forums, and so I replyed accodingly.

You going to bed, or do I get the Allied round so I can continue? Dying to find out if you can defend Belarus or if you have to retreat. My money’s on retreat.
-
I don’t intend to continue this third re-make of 2lost games just untill you can get your “win!” after what you wrote in LH forums.

I honestly don’t think your changes to your NCMs meant you lost or my changes to an NCM means I lost. If it’s that important, I guess you could call it what you want to call it, but I really won’t see it that way. I don’t think a round’s gone by since at least round 3 we havn’t ended up with an NCM change for the allies somewhere…not saying I don’t mind it, just saying I don’t really see them as “I lost, let’s rewind and do it over” actions. You know? Otherwise we’d have like 100 axis wins and I don’t think that really counts.
Okay, maybe none were drastic, to be honest, I never really checked them. I just took the most recent map and moved on because I don’t view it as a huge deal. This is not a tournament game, it’s not a league game, it’s a game. We’re trying to figure out if taking India and England will result in a probable axis win. I never use the term 100% or always because anything can happen - literally, it’s others that put that word in my mouth for me.
We know that if Japan turns back from taking India, that the allies will win. What we don’t know is if Japan continues on the attack if the allies can still win. Hell, to be fair, I let you change the Australian combat move! It’s less drastic than changing the Japan NCM for sure, but think about the history of our game and realistically look at the number of changes you’ve made and see if that’s about equivalent to the one Japan NCM change. I’m not counting the rewind here, because I conceeded the game previously and we’re doing a “what if” now. That’s not a change (in my mind) it’s like we did the exact same thing for two rounds with the exact same results. What I’m talking about here are the numerous little changes to NCMs and a CM on one side, and then the one change to the Japanese NCM. I think you’d see it as about equal, if not, then I’d say you should see it as the allies abusing the privelege of minor changes more than the axis have. Not to point fingers, as I said, I don’t really see things like that as conceeding the game to the other player. After all, you could well have seen the SZ 45 transport on Japan’s next turn when it took Philippines - right? (sorry, it’s literally the only change that I even noticed because it was a combat move change, I literally did not look at any of the half dozen or dozen other changes that were made after a map were posted, in my mind, it was as if you had done it that way the first time.)
So yea, you can declare it a loss, but I’ll never be convinced that a minor NCM change constitutes a loss in a game where one side has made a lot of NCM changes and the other side only made one.

Naw jenn, If I played better, it would be even an easier win.
I should have bought better things US (like not buying 6bombers) and purchased at least 1 or 2 more turns in the Pacific. I played poorly this second time, but I don’t want to play another game, really.
Also, we’re not talking about NCMs mistakes. I never changed an NCM during your turn after you rolled your dices. We’re talkinga bout you asking me to change your Japanese turn after I sank all your fleet in sz6.
-
That’s the way I see it…both sides made mistakes, and were corrected…it should be about a wash in my mind. However, if you feel that strongly about it, I don’t want to jeapordize a friendship over a game so feel free to call it whatever you want to call it. (I’ve elaborated on mistakes so far, I don’t feel the need to do so again.)
-
Naw jenn, If I played better, it would be even an easier win.
Oh, and for the record, you’re going down faster than a red neck’s sister in Tennessee, buddy! That issue in Turkey made it easier (mainly because now I can stack Spain and should have allowed me to shut down the naval base, but that did not happen.)
Russia’s toast and I only need 1 more Victory City to win. I have: Paris, Berlin, Rome, Warsaw, Cairo, St. Petersburg and London. That’s 7.
-
I know I worsened unnecessarily the situation. The only thing I can do now is killing the italian dd blocker, ncm my fleet to malta. The turn later I take Cairo.
