Classic advice! Nothing says safety like a day of drinking and fireworks 😂 Stay safe out there! Fireworks are definitely a hot topic with the Holidays—Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year—coming up. I’ll be in France for Christmas and New Year, and I’ve heard New Year’s celebrations there are amazing with fireworks. A good series is Marshall Cavendish W.W.I series. This 12 volume set, is usually found in libraries, encyclopedia articles of the war, some written or based on people who lived during the war.

Rich in pictures, graphs, charts, illustrations, side stories of the Great War. If you cannot find what you want to read here, then it probably be a hard search for that particular subject.

Some libraries hace a duplicate set of books, letting you take a volume home. You can try the net, used book stores, good luck in getting a set, enjoy the read, thanks, Pellulo

For more information on the Nike Missile program the Nike Missile society (nikemissile.org/) has all the information you need to know. Also as I look over my last post I see that I accidently typed 87c instead of 88c. Sf-88c is located on Wolf Ridge in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. The road that used to lead up to it has washed out in several places so you have to hike to get to it. The previous website has some information on it but I am not sure if it is up to date. The imagery from Google earth is from 2009. What I have gleaned from Google is pretty much location, how to get there, and what the condition was several years ago. Also I found a source saying that one of the towers that a radar dome used to be positioned on is collapsing, which Google earth doesn’t show.

Well, in Connecticut, there is a tax on everything save breathing, even technically there is one for that if you are breathing nicotine. Representative Wilbur, however, is a decent fellow ( I worked on his farm for a time) and he will do all in his power to pass the bill exempting deployed soldiers from vehicle taxes.

Yea, the one I am thinking about had a steeple and I’m almost positive they had other services in there as well.  But hey, there’s kinda a large time differential between 1989 and 2005, ya know?  Like 16 years!  Hell, you can GROW a soldier in that amount of time!
