Okay…that’s good for me. I concede.
I could really continue playing here. Honestly, that’s very far from finished…but i’m a bit discouraged for now…that’s game after game after game that i get diced in about EVERY (and i mean it) critical battle. The worst bad luck strike of my life. Hopefully, that bad luck is only about dice rolls in here :-D
That said, well played. This one was much more difficult for me than the other games we played.
I don’t mind any redo or reroll or use of low luck rules for the US and UK if you want to see how it plays out.
For turn 8, our economies are pretty well balanced, both sides hovering around 160 IPCs. It’s hard to say, but I think the balance of power is also about equal. Italy and the USSR are both under threat but neither are going to fall anytime soon.
Also, I’ve been interested by how you chose to split US forces. I was surprised when you started going Atlantic even though Japan’s economy was doing well. But after a few rounds it looks like the Allies can hold Calcutta for long time unless Japan is willing to sacrifice in China and/or the DEI.
