We only had 3 players make it to the cut off for the finals. Those contestants are: Karl7, Mr. Green and U-505.
Given I don’t like giving anyone a “pass” if I can avoid it, I intent to move the runner up (the only one with 6 games or more) Jim010 into the finals so we have two matches.
Game Matchups are:
Game 1: Karl7 vs Jim010
Game 2: Mr. Green vs U-505Good luck, and to quote the Hunger Games: “May the odds be ever in your favor!”

Just got an email that i am in the League Championship. Caught me by surprise, as I played only 6 games and I haven’t played in months. My last league game I had to forfeit because I couldn’t finish it. I am not wanting to leave anyone hanging, but won’t be able to play online games for a little bit.
But as Karl lives in the same city as me, well call me, Karl! I’d be happy to whoop your ass in person … again. :-D

Championship games use the same rules as the rest of the league for the year. 2nd Edition rules come into effect for the 2013 year. Now, I’ll allow a substitution if both players agree since there are very few differences between Alpha 3 and 2nd Edition.
Games are single elimination. Winners fight each other for the championship.

Due to a brain lapse on my part, I mistook Karl for Idi Amin, who also goes by Karl. As we don’t live by each other, we can’t do face to face, and I don’t have time. Karl will need another opponent.
Maybe next year.
