Btw, although I didn’t state it, since I attacked the German sub in SZ89, the US has made a DOW against Germany (and I would have declared war against Italy as well, but forgot it wasn’t declared US3)

There have been tons of changes to Alpha-3 in the last few days. I’m inclined to cancel this game, sift through the changes, and begin a new game - I’d like to spend my time testing and playing the most up-to-date rules.
-
I have no idea if this last round is the end of it either.
I don’t mind cancelling this one, I definitely think you should chalk it up as an Axis win (if the UK Mediterranean fleet had done it’s job on turn 2, the Allies might have held out at Cairo).
Just out of curiousity, were you going go for Sea Lion since Russia was so crippled by the SBR and you saved German income? Or were you just threatening it by saving the income to keep the UK from building a Persian minor IC?
Also, did you let me sink SZ100 just to remove potential interceptors? Or did you feel one landing diverted enough force from Moscow that it was worth the initial investment?

I was going to either build minor ICs in Russia if you left me with any of those 4 tt worth 2 IPCs, or go Sea Lion if you didn’t. You chose to take them all back, so I was planning to go Sealion. Either way I wanted UK to sweat and build defenders instead of more fleet.
z100 was originally intended to have Italian troops board on I2, then landing on Caucasus on I3 followed by Germany troops there as well on G4, but I totally forgot about a Submarine blocking amphibious assaults, so you kinda thwarted my original design. I tried to make the best of it with the DD, but wasn’t interested in pulling defending aircraft from anywhere else any longer to protect them. I wasn’t sure if you’d attack them because the planes couldn’t return to Moscow to intercept strategic bombing, but you did anyway.
The Japanese methodology was an afterthought. I have three usual good solid plans with Japan that I prefer to use, but this time they were just assisting Germany to win in Europe.
Lets wait a bit to see if anymore changes are coming down the pipe, then play another game against each other.

Sure, I’ll play again after A3 appears settled. I was really surprised that were still setup changes made.
