Another great learning path you can take is 1941, 1942, and finally 1940.  More complicated/bigger usually equals more fun and more time-consuming.

Anniversary is still the most popular among loyal but infrequent gamers.

So this weekend I will be playing the allied powers versus my friend who will be playing all of the axis powers. He has hinted over and over again that he is going to use a new strategy that he is very confident in. And that this new strategy means that I wont know which way he is going until turn 4. Has anyone else ever heard of this or a similar strategy? Or does anyone have any advice for how I should be changing my play style to anticipate a round 4 attack?

But keep in mind the following exception:

If a Japanese industrial complex is built on a Chinese territory
and that territory is later recaptured by the Chinese or liberated
by another Allied power, the industrial complex is removed from the game.

I think the easiest place is E-Bay. There is usualy a copy for sale there.

get an expansion

I got it to add bid units at the beginning of the game on the standard CD. After that, it won’t change things say if the game screws up!
