Jim010/Stirling vs Cromwell

Ok, that’s reasonable. The new turn order has been posted, so I assume we are going with that, which means Italy is up next.

What are your losses?
-
By the way, did you deduct -3 for the German sub in sz106 instead of -2?
-
I’d like to declare my losses after I see the Defense roll. Since you’re likely offline, I’ll go ahead and roll for myself and declare ool in that context.

Rolls: 2@4 1@3 1@2; Total Hits: 42@4: (2, 3)1@3: (3)1@2: (2)
And, no, I didn’t deduct anything actually. Sorry about that, feel free to reduce UK Europe to 27. Once the new rules are posted, you would have to roll two die rather than have a freebie. :-)
-
Actually, you are supposed to declare losses before you roll. It is in the rulebook, and in battles like this, it is important that you do so. You are not supposed to have the luxury of knowing your hits.
-
Where in the rulebook?
-
I would have chosen the same regardless - I just felt better about having the roll in context. In any event, we don’t have a “casualty strip” and we do not require ool for every battle.
-
Page 17 under Step 3 in Pacific manual… i don’t have the Europe one handy, but it is the same rule.
After attacking player has rolled for all attacking units, the defender chooses one unit for each hit scored and moves it behind the casualty strip.

No we don’t, but in naval battles, it can be important and I will ask for losses.
I still need your losses.
