What units HBG and FMG must do next

What I would like is a package of poker chips (compatible with existing A&A versions) to use with 1914. I find that there simply isn’t room on the board for all the different stacks for each army, especially on the crowded western front.

So I just give each nation a single stack of chips with the required infantry unit on top.

The system I use is:

grey/white = infantry
red = artillery
green - tanks
blue = fighters

Additional colours might be reserved for new units vis:

black = bombers
yellow = cavalry

A nice touch would be for each colour to be embossed with the appropriate unit type.

Equivalent pieces for ships aren’t as important but maybe double sided chips for naval units?

As for me, I don’t mind having 2 colors for the “major powers,” 1 for standard troops and 1 for elites.

When everything is finished I’m going to have 2 color schemes(Europe/Pacific) for “standard” troops of all countries(except China) plus another scheme for certain areas on the map. This doesn’t include the Special Forces units.

For example, the U.K. would have units in a “European” scheme, a “Far East” scheme(shown above), a “Desert” scheme, and specific schemes for their “Airborne” and “Special Forces” units.

America, Germany, France & Italy would also have “Desert” schemes.
Russia, Germany, & China would have “Winter” schemes.
Special Forces units galore.
Etc., Etc., Etc.

“Allworkandnoclay” is my painter and I’m very happy with his work. I love his idea of painting the national ensigns of each country on their Infantry bases. I come up with what I want and pay for them and he paints them. As long as his eyes don’t go blind,…or I go bankrupt from paying for them, we’ll eventually get ALL of the units done. We still have a ways to go as all of the HBG and FMG units haven’t been produced yet.

Well, I still like the Crusader, although I know it was more on the side of a light to medium tank.  I’m not as familiar with the Cromwell, though I do know it was more comparible with the Sherman and other medium tanks.
The Churchill was heavy in terms of armor and size, but I thought the gun was somewhat underpowered.  Now that I think about it, not really sure what caliber gun the Churchill had.
Perhaps HBG could make the Crusader in his British supplement set as a light tank, like his M-3 Stuart in the US set (those look great by the way).

They are indeed a bit big, but they look good.  The tanks and subs are clones of pieces that were originally designed for the Supremacy board game.  I also bought some of the Rolco rocket pieces in white: laid on their sides rather than vertically, they make pretty good atomic bomb pieces.

In the 1939 variant, I combined ANZAC and CANADA into a new power THE COMMONWEALTH.  The income was split between the two sides of the map (Ottawa / Sydney).  The twist was that this power shares the SAME TURN as the UK.  So they can work in concert with the UK and Calcutta forces.

Yeah I already know that, but it would be better if they were separated nations, at least i  my opinion

They are separate Nations, but controlled by one player.  They have separate economies, Capitols etc…

So house-rule them into a different turn order.

Though, to be quite honest, on their own Anzac and Canada as completely separate nations would be like playing France … more or less useless.
Anzac may do alright, but Canada just doesn’t have enough to do anything without the assistance of the UK (which is why having them move on the same turn as the UK and Anzac, all in cooperation, is an amazing way to do it.  It makes for some very interesting moves, especially if you have different people playing UK and Canada/Anzac)!
