@The_Good_Captain Nice, I’ll stay tunned!
Gargantua (Allies) vs Commander Jennifer (Axis) Russia Test

I can’t post france until later tonight… :( I mean, they have SO MANY OPTIONS! And Pieces to move!
As for this outstanding matter…
I wonder what everyone else thinks? Axis? Aaron? Omega?
Anyone? Would YOU let her move those pieces? Do tell…

As I said, totally up to you. I know I should have physically moved them, I probably typed it, but I am way too lazy to go check. Leave em, move them, whatever. As for play style, considering this is my second ever attack on Russia round 2, I think it’s going quite well. :P

I probably typed it
Nope
4 Tac, 4 Fig, Strat land in W. Germany
2 Inf Denmark to W. GermanyBuild: 10 Infantry in W. Germany

You forgot the qualifier on that statement. Given it’s only my second attempt at the attack Russia on Germany 2 strategy, I think it is going quite well.

I would certainly not let her move the pieces in the context of a tournament…
For the purpose of testing her strategy, might let her do the move. Would depend how generous I feel. :-D

Well I’ll let you move in Jen, based only on my conditions, that you “need” it to stay in the game.
:)
France attached… NCM per map.

Build 10 Infantry in Germany
Build 3 Armor in W. GermanyI did double check to ensure I had all the Noncombats actually on the map this time.
Collect: -2 Norway + 5 Sweeden + 45 TT = 48
Note: My map will automatically tally any convoy raids (well, for Alpha 2, it cannot handle the 3 for the Germans yet) so you dont need the flaming transports. Not sure if you have the same one, just didn’t flag the “at war” table or if you have the last incarnation that could not handle it.
Yes, I made sure I moved my guys. Everything 1 space towards Russia except planes (all in W. Germany) and armor which moved two spaces. Subs from Canada moved towards England, sub from SZ 112 went to the English convoy zone and one of the SZ 112 submarines went to take the Russian NO away.

$48 of income with Germany. I can’t see the map (I don’t have the software), but that means you are not deep in Russia on your G3 (this battle was only a skirmish). I don’t see where most of the German troops are concentrated, probably Baltic States or Eastern Poland.

Hey, can you tell me where to get the other version?
-
She has a fat stack in EPL
17 inf
12 art
3 aag
8 arm1 inf in BST
1 inf in BEL
a few subs in the atlantic
10 art HUN
22 inf in Berlin

Hmm…
What’s in Finland / Norway right now?
Russia has 27 infantry at the start + some other stuff + what they are building. I think the Germans will run out of steam before too long.

whew, that was a lot to read, 13 pages, for 2-ish rounds of Axis and Allies :-)

lots of arguing… Interesting game nonetheless.

Yes. Sorry about that. Second test game not as good as the first, but then again, there is a quality level difference between the players as well.

Most in E. Poland. I didn’t have my Italian to pave the way yet, and even if I did, I needed the Luftwaffe for the Atlantic and couldnt spare them for N. Ukraine like in the game with Jmite.

Hey, can you tell me where to get the other version?
It is the T40 module and I want to say it is Sgt Wonko’s in the software section of the forum. It’s a much prettier map and he even obliged me in making France a lighter color so you can see the French tiles better, so that’s good too! And it does not require control markers for England on English soil to make their cash right, nor does it require those silly flaming transports (course, no one says you cant use them anyway, right?)
It’s what I am using, which is why the control markers in, say the money section, are not lined up pretty on yours (they are on mine.) A little worried a stack or something might not line up either, but that might not be an issue.

That Soviet turn will be something! :-D

Skip it and go to Japan, now it is not something, it is nothing.
