@Gamerman01:
Don’t even talk to me about defensive 2’s. Pretty sure you’ve been hitting around 50% so far. Now I’m curious and will go check.
OK, the numbers are in. You’re not hitting 50%, it just feels like it. That’s why I like to check the numbers - to reconcile facts with feelings. In the charts below, the results are the number of hits suffered by each power. So, for example, in the first 4 rounds Russia faced a 29.6% hit rate from all Axis defending 2’s.
Rounds 1-4 totals (facing defensive 2’s only):
G 2/18 11.1%
R 8/27 29.6%
J 6/22 27.3%
UK 5/9 55.6%
I 2/4 50%
US 3/8 37.5%
Axis 10/44 22.7% (Yeah, that was noticeable)
Allies 16/44 36.4% (a little worse than average over 4 rounds)
Round 5-7 1/2 totals
G 8/22 36.4% (Can’t get lucky forever)
R 18/53 34.0%
J 9/21 42.9% (Ouch)
UK 7/19 36.8%
I 1/8 12.5%
US 1/2 50%
Axis 18/51 35.3%
Allies 26/74 35.1%
Game totals
Axis 28/95 29.5%
Allies 42/118 35.6%
Yep, you’ve been lucky so far. But not lucky enough. :-)
