Summary: Operation Seppuku did not go off as planned-I never pulled the Japanese air force towards USSR. It appears to have been successful in keeping 28 USSR units out of USSR on turn 8 when I expect to capture with approximately 6-14 artillery and 11 armor remaining. (We’ll see what you and the dice have in mind.) :-D My original planned called for sacking USSR on turn 10 or 11, but Italy was too hamstrung by the R2 attack at z96, I almost placed the DD in z94-that will teach me, I only looked at them going to Egy and dismissed the threat. As a result (5 turns later), losing Egypt will be tricky for the axis-That was my only goal for Italy the whole game :(, My Japanese moves are going to change as a result, it’ll be less planned, but I have a 3-5 turn agenda in mind. By turn 15, I expect a resolution; the game will be over or clear for one side or the other. I never got a chance to seize Spain :( and catch the allied fleet unaware. I only set up for it a couple of rounds, that was the exciting move I was debating.
This is a very fun game. I can’t wait to see what happens.
